General Questions

When are you open?

We are open Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm.

What age groups do you accept?

We take all ages from 0 weeks to 13 years of age.

What School Districts come to your center?

Do you accept CCCS/TWC/Childcare Group children?

Yes, we accept CCCS/TWC/Childcare group children if we have availability.

Do you accept CPS or Foster children?

Yes, we accept CPS and Foster Children if we have the availability.

Do you have Remind 101?

Yes, we have a Remind 101. Please ask the office personnel for the code to join.

Do you do Fundraisers?

We have fundraisers through-out the year. You do not have to participate if you don't want to, but it is highly encouraged that you do.

Policy Questions

What rules or standards does Circle K Kiddie Ranch follow?

How are qualified are the staff?

Per State of Texas Minimum Standards, our staff has to be 18 years or older, have a High School Diploma, and be able to pass an FBI Fingerprint Background Check to be qualified to work in Child Care.

Several of our staff have taken the Child Developmental Associates Courses to obtain their CDA.

We also have several teachers who are either going through college or have an Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree.

What is your discrimination policy?

Circle K Kiddie Ranch will not discriminate against any person for any reason.

What is your child abuse policy?

Circle K Kiddie Ranch follows State of Texas Minimum Standards guidelines on child abuse. We have to report any suspected child abuse. If we do not, we can have criminal charges brought against our teachers and facility.

What is your biting policy?

Circle K Kiddie Ranch follows positive guidance and redirection. When the biter bites, we redirect by giving an appropriate toy to chew on while explaining that our friends are not food. If the biter continues, we will move them into a different classroom.

What is your sick policy?

Circle K Kiddie Ranch follows State of Texas Minimum Standards. If your child is sent home for being sick, you are required to keep them home until they are 24 hours sick-free without the help of medication.
If there is a communicable disease going around (RSV, Flu, Stomach Bug) we will inform all parents about it and what the Health Department recommends doing along with our policies.

What is your discipline policy?

Per State of Texas Minimum Standards, we are only allowed to put children in Time Out.
If the child continues to act out, our director will talk to the child.
If the child continues after that, the parent will be called and the child will be suspended.
No discounts will be offered if a child is suspended.
If the child continues to act out upon return, the family will be dropped as a client.

Can I talk to my child's teacher?

Circle K Kiddie Ranch policy is that you make an appointment to talk to the teacher. Our teachers cannot watch their class if they are talking to parents. By making an appointment, either in person or by phone, you will have their full undivided attention.

Cost Questions

Is there an enrollment fee?

Yes, there is a one-time, $75 per child enrollment fee.

Is there a supply fee?

For ages 13 months to 5 years there is a $40 supply fee per child that takes place 3 times per year.
For all Kindergarten and Afterschool Children there is a $50 supply fee per child that is one time a year.

When are supply fees due?

Ages 13 months to 5 years, the supply fees are due in January, May, and September.
Kindergarten and Afterschool Children, supply fees are due on June 1.

When are weekly fees due?

Weekly enrollment/tuition charges are applied each Wednesday for the upcoming week.
Payments are due on Friday, before the week begins.

Will there be late fees on tuition?

Yes. Any payments not made by 6:30 pm on Friday of the PREVIOUS week will be considered late.

Will there be late fees on pick-up?

Yes. If you do not let us know you will be late, there will be a late fee applied. If you arrive after closing time, you will be charged.

When does CCCS/TWC/Child Care Group pay?

Payments for the month are due on or before the 1st working day of the Month. Payments not made by the 5th working day of the Month will be reported to CCCS/TWC/Child Care Group and you will be dropped as a client.

Do you offer transportation?

Yes.

What schools do you pick up from?

We pick up from :

- North Early Learning
- Little Cypress
- Mauriceville
- Bridge City

How much does transportation cost?

Transportation costs $75/month per child.

Will CCCS/TWC/Childcare Group Subsidiary payments cover my children's transportation fees?

CCCS/TWC/Childcare Group Subsidiary payments will NOT cover transportation fees.
